I’m Alex Jean, the founder of MyDiamondBlade. Before launching this platform, I gained hands-on experience working with cutting tools in real job-site environments, cutting materials such as concrete, tile and stone.
Through firsthand experience, I learned that most cutting problems don’t come from bad tools but from choosing the wrong blade for the job. Overheating, uneven cuts and rapid blade wear are usually caused by incorrect blade selection and improper use.
I created MyDiamondBlade to turn real-world experience into clear, honest guidance helping professionals and DIY users avoid costly mistakes and choose the right diamond blade with confidence.

How Our Team Came Together
MyDiamondBlade was founded by me but it was never meant to be a one-person project.
Before launching this site, I worked with cutting tools in real working environments. During that time, I worked alongside people who were dealing with the same tools, materials and challenges. Some of us worked together on the same projects while others crossed paths through shared work environments and hands-on tool use.
As we talked more I realized we were all facing the same issues confusing blade choices inconsistent results and a lack of clear practical guidance. Rather than keeping those lessons to myself, I decided to bring everyone together and share what we were learning.
That’s how MyDiamondBlade became a team-driven platform built on shared experience, discussion, testing and problem-solving rather than theory or marketing.

Daniel Wright brings strong hands-on experience with different surface materials and cutting conditions. He has worked closely with construction and finishing materials understanding how density, hardness and structure affect cutting performance.

Mark Lewis is responsible for hands-on blade testing and safety-focused evaluation. His background includes working with cutting tools under different conditions identifying common issues such as blade glazing, vibration and heat buildup.
Mark documents real cutting problems and works with the team to test practical solutions adjusting blade types, cutting techniques and usage methods. His work helps ensure that MyDiamondBlade content is not only informative but also focused on safe and efficient use.
